Almost three days ago and two washes later, the kool-aid hair color has stuck around! It has certainly faded and looks far better in particular lighting, but for the most part the color is lingering. I expect it to turn to pastel shades here soon, probably after I wash my locks next. Again, if I had waited more than two hours to leave the "dye" on my locks, I would've yielded way more saturated color. I also really wanted the top layer of locks to be purple, but that color didn't quite turn out...it was more of a turquoise. This was a really fun idea and super easy to do. A great cost-effective alternative that girls will love. |
