I think it's a great thing to see even our over-glorified celebrities sporting dreadlocks. To be positive, I really think that it will help to desensitize the mainstream norm and entice conversation. Though I don't advocate for dreadlock extensions, and I believe that if you are going to do it- really dreading do it, I appreciate the popularity of the hairstyle. What's nice is that aside from extensions, there is the option to temporarily tease your hair into sections and wear dreadlocks for the evening. While the hairstyle is temporary, the gossip about the celebrity's new hairstyle always lingers. |
