About two months ago I began making and using a sea salt spray on my dreadlocks. I was in desperate need of a spray that would both tighten and condition because after a few different hair dyes my locks had no good oil left. They lacked moisture and would shed upon touch. I researched an online recipe and adapted it to my needs, utilizing tea tree oil and natural aloe vera. I have had so much fun scooping the goop on the inside of the aloe plants to use in my spray! I find that to be the key ingredient and what seems to be doing to the frizz-patrol. The only negative to this spray that I've noticed is that if you use too much salt in it, there will be more coarse residue in your hair, though that isn't bad for dreadlocks in the slightest.
